It was all in her eyes

From a long time ago I was thinking to pour my heart out over an incident that shook me from the within.

All of these words relate to me in one way or another. Moving on. Here’s what I came up with :-

There was nothing very special about her. Absolutely nothing.

Yet, each time that she smiled, her eyes sparkled.

The kind of a shine that only made me fall more in love with her.

 

SMILE BY SMILE. OUNCE BY OUNCE.

 

They were infectious, those light brown eyes, since each time they looked into mine, my heart would race at a gut sickening speed of 200 miles an hour.

The sensually caramelized shade of brown cut through me, causing the sweetest of pains, compelling me to only ask for more.

HER EYES SPOKE TO MY SOUL AND QUESTIONED MY SANITY.

THEY HELD THE PHANTASMS OF THE CRAZIEST DREAMS I’D SEEN.

 

They made me want to fly.

They made me want to embrace the sky.

 

Each time that she blinked, it seemed as if I’d lost a part of myself for a fraction of second.

Those orbs held answers to the questions I left unanswered; they held my craziest fantasies, my childish imaginations

The gloomiest of my secrets and my most dreadful trepidation.

 

They held me.

 

My strengths my fears

My anxieties my tears.

 

Her eyes, when dug into mine, made it impossible for me to speak.

1000s of words that I wanted to say got locked in my tongue and were left there to linger forever.

Her eyes communicated with my insight.

 

A FLICKER OF SADNESS IN THEM GAVE ME THE COURAGE TO FIGHT OFF AN ENTIRE ARMY.

THEY GAVE ME THE GRIP TO BURY WITHIN ME, ALL THE SECRETS THAT THEY SPOKE OF.

 

Every time I looked into them, they presented me with an unusual radiance that made me gleam like millions of diamonds kept under the sun.

They were like my own exclusive drug.

 

I DIDN’T EXPECT MUCH

I DIDN’T DEMAND MUCH

ALL I WISHED FOR WAS TO HAVE HER EYES

LAIN ON ME FOR AN ETERNITY.

MY WORLD RESIDED IN HER EYES AND

THE ONLY THING THAT PARALYZED ME FROM WITHIN

WAS TO KNOW THAT HER

WAS ENTRAPPED IN SOMEONE ELSE’S.
