You forgot to mention your twinkling eyes and the way you felt, when you saw him, but I noticed.

The sudden appearances of those smiles, the change of tone and the way you started acting all weird whenever he was around, you couldn’t explain, but I noticed.

His narration in every small conversations of us, you didn’t notice, but I did.

The explanations you tried to sell me of being up late at nights, I didn’t buy, because I knew the true reason behind your lies.

The looks you gave him absent-mindedly filled with love, you didn’t realise, but I noticed.

The reasons of those swallowed eyes and fresh scars on your wrist, you didn’t explain, I knew already.

The fake smile you put on your face, just to ensure me that you’re okay, did never work on me.

Though you said a thousand times that you were over him, but I knew you weren’t. The love for him was still buried somewhere inside your heart.

And then you went back to act normal, but this time it was plastered with enough of fakeness that it went unnoticed by me.

But that night, the way your smile faltered when you saw him with someone else, proved my point and you were feeling sick all of a sudden.

You still think everything passed through me, but trust me, I filtered everything, I noticed everything.
